However, data leakage and privacy are major concerns for enterprises, especially when using sensitive data such as PI or PII. Google Sensitive Data Protection offers a data-focused approach to protect gen AI applications, as shown in a Jupyter Notebook with real-life examples.

ShellTorch is a set of critical security flaws in TorchServe, a tool for serving PyTorch models. The flaws allow remote code execution and server takeover by attackers who can upload malicious models without authentication. The flaws are caused by an insecure management interface, a remote SSRF vulnerability, and an outdated SnakeYAML library. Users should update to TorchServe version 0.8.2 to fix the issues.

REGULATIONS

The latest updates on the national and international governing boards on the progress to regulate AI.

The ICO said Snap failed to properly assess the risks before launching "My AI" in April and could ban it if not satisfied with the company's response. Snap said it followed a robust legal and privacy review and would work constructively with the ICO.
